Research Interests:

(1) Development of new methodologies or strategies for assembly of oligosaccharides;

(2) Synthesis and evaluation of biologically important oligosaccharides such as tumor-associated antigens;

 (3) Chemical modifications of aminoglycoside antibiotics;

(4) Design, synthesis and evaluation of carbohydrate-processing enzyme inhibitors as well as discovery of new carbohydrate-based drugs.
